Hot Penny Miners
In our most watched penny mining stock list we try to gather one stock from each segment of the mineral industy. That is we try to have one gold stock, one silver stock and so forth. Each stock picked must be an active trader with good volume, be one that we feel is undervalued, have active projects and gets good exposure via broadcasts, research papers or analyst reports. we prefer to have Canadian stocks on our list as most of our readers are trading penny stocks that are listed on Canadian exchanges.

Gold Penny Mining Stock
GREAT BASIN GOLD (TSX GBG) added July 13/09: One of my favourite gold stocks right now has to be Great Basin gold. Here are a few things to consider on GBG. Once the new mine is in production you should see a move in the shareprice. Closed today on the Canadian market at $1.89. GBG also has a warrant trading the symbol is gbg.wt.a.to. CANACO (TSX-V:CAN): added Oct.12/09: Canaco has potential, plain and simple. It's got Tanzania, a chinese partership, gold and at the time of this writing it is still affordable.

SILVER QUEST (TSX-V: SQI): added Oct. 09: We like this small silver player just because. Good land holdings and exciting plays in BC and Yukon.

Copper Penny Mining Stock
COPPER FOX (TSX-V: CUU): Added Oct. 11/09 CUU replaced DOX. Copper Fox is developing a project in northwest BC that hosts a measured and indicated resource of 1.4 billion tonnes containing 4.76 billion pounds of copper, 4.5 million troy ounces of gold, 32.5 million troy ounces of silver, and 255.2 million pounds of molybdenum.
Nickle Penny Mining Stock
HARD CREEK NICKLE (TSX-V: HNC): added June 5/08: Large nickle play in northen BC.
Uranium Penny Mining Stock
PUREPOINT URANIUM GROUP INC. (TSX-V: PTU): Very large land holder of uranium properties in northern Saskatchewan in the Athabasca Basin. This area has some of the worlds highest grade uranium.
FORUM URANIUM (TSX-V: FDC): Canadian uranium projects in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan and the Thelon Basin, Nunavut.
Zinc Penny Mining Stock
MURGOR RESOURCES (TSX-V: MGR): added Oct. 09: We think MGR has tons of potential as a zinc play. JV with Hubay in Manitoba and JV with Noront this miner has got the good in it's favour.
BREAKWATER RESOURCES (TSX BWR): We got rid of Blue Note and replaced it with Breakwater Resources for the simple fact that you can't have that many actual working mines and be so cheap in price.
SELWYN RESOURCES (TSX-V: SWN): added Feb.10/10: Selwyn is active in looking for zinc in the Howards Pass area of the Yukon. This area straddles the Yukon and the NWT. The Yukon is getting to be an area of great interest of the Chinese. They have already bought into numerous projects. Going forward we think SWN offers great potential.
Coal Penny Mining Stock
WESTERN COAL (TSX WTN): Larger miner in the Tumbler Ridge area of BC.
COMPLIANCE ENERGY (TSX-V: CEC): Small player with huge upside potential. Large properties in old proven areas on Vancouver Island.
Cobalt Penny Mining Stock
FORMATION CAPITAL CORP (TSX: FCO): Has interests in base, precious metal and uranium projects in Canada, the United States and Mexico. The Company's primary assets include the Idaho Cobalt Project.
Moly Penny Mining Stock
PROPHECY RESOURCE (TSX-V: PCY): Added Oct. 20/09. We got rid of Leeward Capital as the stock has stalled out and added Prophecy as a hot stock to watch. Their moly play is on the west coast of BC just a ways out of Powell River. Trading volumes are light. Around 11 million shares OS.
AVANTI MINING (TSX-V:AVT) AVT Added Feb. 12/09) Owners of the Kitsault deposit which is one of the top five primary Molybdenum development assets worldwide.
CRESTON MOLY (TSX-V: CMS): Moly explorer in Mexico. Has one of the largest undeveloped molybdenum resources in the western hemisphere.
Rare Earth Miners
GREAT WESTERN MINERALS (TSX-V: GWG): Added Oct. 13/09. GWG has projects in Saskatchewan, Utah and South Africa.
FORUM URANIUM (TSX-V: FDC): Added Oct.16/09: Not only is Forum in our uranium pick it is also in our rare earth watch list for it's explorations in the Thelon region of Nunavut.
HUDSON MINERALS (TSX-V: HUD): Added Nov. 7/09: We like Hudson for REE's because of their exposure in Greenland. We feel that Greenland is like the last frontier for mining and there is huge interest in the country from nearly every mining nation on the globe. China and Australia are also looking at ground in Greenland. So are we at pennyminingstocks.com
